According to the analysis and statistics, the capacitors are mainly divided into the following 10 categories: 1. According to the structure, they are divided into three categories: fixed capacitor, variable capacitor and fine tuning capacitor. 2. Classification by electrolyte: organic dielectric capacitor, inorganic dielectric capacitor, electrolytic capacitor, electric heating capacitor, air dielectric capacitor, etc. 3. It can be divided into high-frequency bypass, low-frequency bypass, filtering, tuning, high-frequency coupling, low-frequency coupling, and small capacitors according to their applications. 4. It can be divided into ceramic capacitor, polyester capacitor, electrolytic capacitor, tantalum capacitor, advanced polypropylene capacitor and so on according to different materials. 5. High frequency bypass: ceramic capacitor, mica capacitor, glass film capacitor, polyester capacitor, glass glaze capacitor. 6. Low frequency bypass: paper capacitor, ceramic capacitor, aluminum electrolytic capacitor, polyester capacitor. 7. Filtering: aluminum electrolytic capacitor, paper capacitor, composite paper capacitor, liquid tantalum capacitor. 8. Tuning: ceramic capacitor, mica capacitor, glass film capacitor, polystyrene capacitor. 9. Low coupling: paper capacitor, ceramic capacitor, aluminum electrolytic capacitor, polyester capacitor, solid tantalum capacitor. 10. Small capacitors: Metallized paper capacitors, ceramic capacitors, aluminum electrolytic capacitors, polystyrene capacitors, solid tantalum capacitors, glass glaze capacitors, metallized polyester capacitors, polypropylene capacitors, mica capacitors.
Generally, the capacitance is yellow or light blue. Some electrolytic capacitors are also red. The electrolytic capacitance is slightly larger, and the nonpolar capacitance is very small. The smallest one is only 1mmx2mm. Some capacitors are marked with two characters in the middle, while most capacitors are not marked with their capacities. The electrolytic capacitor in the mobile phone has a narrow dark bar at one end, indicating that the end is its positive pole.
As for the capacitance marked with capacity, generally the first character is English letters, representing the effective number, the second character is a number, representing the index of 10, and the capacitance unit is PF. See table 2-1 for the specific meaning. For example, a capacitor is marked G3. By checking the table, it is found that g = 1.8, 3 = 103. Then, the nominal value of this capacitor is 1.8x
